Lost in a world that has no faith
It's built by only of misery and hate
I can't get out no matter what i do
But somehow I'll make it back to you
Lost in a world without no love
I wanna be free like the white winged dove
No one hears me when I scream and shout
Someway I will manage to get out
Lost in a world without a home
Everday I feel frightened and alone
It's like a nightmare feeding on my fear
Somehow I need to get out of here
Lost in a world without a dream
Things here are not what they always seem
There's no truth to be found but only of lies
To this place I want to say good-bye
Where you are is where I want to be
But what ever happens just remember me...
A girl who is lost but cannot be found
To a place with no light or sound
To escape but only to be cought
No matter how much she has fought
No more can I breathe
I just want to leave
I can't take no more
Just show me the door
I don't wanna be lost
I don't care what it'll cost
Some day I will return
And by then i'll have learned
No matter how far you are from me
I'm never lost with you in my heart, forever you will be

A 5 year old poem which is one of my first poems. When i wrote it, i had no true meaning to it. The thoughts that went through my mind was bieng lost, not knowing where i belonged.
I understand the last line is more pushed, but i tried editing it, but came up with nothing
So i'm sorry if it doesn't fit the rhythem.

I actually like the last line, because it breaks the pattern. To me it's about being optimistic, and to come out of a bad situation stronger than before, so I think it fits perfectly
